Comet Hop Profile

Despite being around since the early 60's, Comet has seen a recent surge in popularity. It has been referred to as "Citra's Little Sister" by brewers who prefer Comet's lower Alpha Acid (9-12%) and well-rounded flavor profile. Comet is zesty with grapefruit and tangerine, but is backed by some unique grassy and herbal elements. Some brewers describe Comet's unique aroma as "Wild American" that produces one-of-kind beers.
